New townhomes could be on the horizon in Sandy, as a vote earlier this month teed up a new development along 7800 South.
On June 4, the Sandy Planning Commission voted unanimously to approve a preliminary subdivision, site plan, and special exception review to combine two parcels of land then subdivide it into nine townhome units.
The new project is named the Silver Ridge Flats project and would be located at roughly 886 E. 7800 South. The land totals .91 acres, and the project would consist of two buildings — a four-unit building to the east and a five unit building to the south.
