Southern Utah patients with certain blood cancers no longer have to travel to Salt Lake City to receive an advanced form of immunotherapy now available at Intermountain Health St. George Regional Hospital.
BiTE therapy, short for bispecific T-cell engager therapy, has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for several years, but until 2026, Intermountain Health patients in Utah had to travel north to receive the treatment.
