WEBER COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — The National Weather Service has confirmed that a tornado touched down just before 2:00 p.m. near Fruit Heights, Utah.
This comes after a tornado warning was issued for Weber, Davis, and Morgan counties by the National Weather Service (NWS) on Friday afternoon.
Videos from Fruit Heights show a funnel formation in the sky. The National Weather Service has confirmed that the tornado touched down near Fruit Heights near a summit along the ridgeline extending west from Francis Peak.
