SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — A climber was airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries after falling 50 feet while attempting an extreme route near Dromedary Peak.
On Friday morning, the climber was attempting the Wasatch Ultimate Ridge Linkup, and extremely technical route known as the WURL, when they fell about 50 feet, according to Salt Lake County Search and Rescue.
The climber’s group called for help and crews began hiking to the area. A Life Flight helicopter then responded and hoisted the climber to the search and rescue staging spot…
