SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Some Utah resorts posted pictures of snow hitting the ground on Monday night as tropical moisture from Hurricane Polo passed through the Beehive State.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), snow fell at the higher elevations above 10,500 feet.
Brian Head resort also posted pictures calling it their “first snow of the year”.
In Salt Lake County, Snowbird got a fresh coat of snow. The resort posted pictures of the mountain caps covered in white. They are set to open on Nov. 27 for the upcoming Ski season.
Alta posted these pictures calling it the “First flakes of the season”.
Brighton also posted this picture highlighting the fall colors in the canyon.
