Utah Flood Watch Oct 10-12: Salt Lake City, Zion Face Flood Risk

Salt Lake City, UT – Widespread Flood Watches are in place across much of Utah Saturday as an unusually moist weather system threatens flash flooding, flooded streets and dangerous conditions in national parks, mountain communities and wildfire burn scars through Monday afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service in Salt Lake City, the watch begins at noon MDT Saturday for southern and central Utah, while northern Utah, including the Salt Lake Valley and Wasatch Front, enters the watch at midnight Sunday.
