SANDY (KUTV) — Residents in Orem, Sandy and Eureka had access to sandbags as communities prepared for heavy rain expected across Utah.
Orem City said 60,000 pounds of sand were delivered to the Orem Public Works facility at 1450 W. 550 North. Empty bags and shovels were available for residents to fill sandbags.
The city asked people to follow posted signs and be considerate of others using the site.
