PROVO, Utah (ABC4) – Nicholas Rossi, the man who stands accused of rape in 2008, refused to appear in a Utah court for a hearing on Tuesday, Jan. 23. Rossi, whose legal name is Nicholas Alahverdian, was scheduled to appear before Judge Derek Pullan in Fourth District Court at 1 p.m. Rossi’s hearing was the first on the docket, however, when his name was called, Pullan was told he was still on his way down.
