First Alert Weather day issued for morning drive as snow, rain heads for Wasatch Front

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) – Another winter storm will move through the state Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Here’s what you can expect as it moves through the region. Showers will begin after midnight. Initially, the precipitation will start as rain in the valleys. However, as temperatures continue to cool overnight, some places will begin to see a changeover to snow by late tonight. The most likely area for this to happen is the northern Wasatch Front. The southern Wasatch Front is more likely to continue seeing rain showers.
