SLCPD asking for help identifying robbery suspect

SALT LAKE CITY ( ABC4 ) — Police are looking for an armed man who allegedly robbed a Salt Lake convenience store near 800 East 400 South after 10 pm. on Jan. 29.

Police say they received a report that a robber entered a store demanding money while displaying a gun. There were no injuries reported from the incident.

Officers searched the area but did not find the suspect; they believe he ran from the area on foot.

Detectives with the Salt Lake City Police Department are asking for help identifying the robber. They released photos of the suspect, describing him as a man between the age of 17-25 years old with a medium build wearing dark clothes.

Police are urging anyone with information to call 801-799-3000.
