SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) – A teenager was arrested Friday night after allegedly fleeing from police while participating in illegal street racing on a Salt Lake City roadway. The Salt Lake City Police Department began its investigation around 11:30 p.m. on October 4, when officers were dispatched to the area of 400 South and 5200 West following reports of a large group of street racers blocking entrances to nearby businesses.
