A fall storm looks like winter!

A cold storm will bring widespread valley rain & mountain snow through Wednesday morning.

4-8 inch totals are likely in most mountains. Higher amounts are possible in Ogden area mountains, Wasatch Mountains south of I-80, & the Central Mountains. Most snow will be above 5,000 ft. with little or no accumulation in most valleys.

Precipitation will turn showery this afternoon and then taper off early tomorrow.

Freezing overnight temps likely in most valleys outside of lower Washington County.

SALT LAKE CITY

Tuesday: Cloudy & colder with rain & snow in the morning, then rain showers in the afternoon. Highs: Mid 40s.

Tuesday Night: Rain & snow showers. Much colder by morning with temps near freezing. Lows: Lower 30s.

ST. GEORGE

Tuesday: Rainy & much cooler. Highs: Near 60.

Tuesday Night: Clear & much colder. Lows: Upper 30s.
