Papa Murphy’s, the U.S. Marines, and ABC4 News have teamed with the goal of making sure every child has at least one gift under the tree this holiday season.

“Seeing something that’s just propagated by good people, put forth by just, well, earnest people, it means a lot and it gives me hope in humanity,” Sgt. Tyler McCulley said. “ … The fact that I get to be a part of this program gives me warmth in my heart, and the fact that I get to be a part of something that is responsible for nothing but just providing smiles to children. I love it. I couldn’t ask for a better opportunity,” he said.
The Toys for Tots website says that to date, the program has distributed 677 million toys to 301 million children. Toys for Tots is a nationwide initiative with over 800 campaigns.
Tabatha Contreras, also known as Utah’s Wonder Woman, has been with the Toys for Tots program for 14 years, now working as a coordinator for the second year.
