BENTONVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A new nonstop flight coming in 2025 to the Northwest Arkansas National Airport may not stick around if travelers aren’t using it.
In a social media post on November 8, XNA said that the daily nonstop flight to Salt Lake City is a “use it or lose it” destination.
“Take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy more access to the western part of the country,” the airport said. “The more passengers that book XNA to SLC, the more likely we can hold onto the flight.”
XNA said the Salt Lake City flight is important because it helps increase Northwest Arkansas traffic to the west.

The airport said it’s possible the success of nonstop flights to Tampa and Phoenix and XNA’s overall performance in 2024 are the reasons why the Salt Lake City flight will soon be an option.
“Now, it’s up to Northwest Arkansas travelers to keep the route as busy as possible by using it come February,” XNA said.
