Woman arrested, accused of damaging $10K cloth at Church History Museum

SALT LAKE CITY – A woman was arrested Friday and accused of damaging a tapa cloth in the Church History Museum in Salt Lake City. Security footage shows a woman walking into an exhibit at the Church History Museum, located at 45 N. West Temple, about 6:45 p.m. Tuesday. The woman poured “an ink-like liquid” onto a tapa cloth, a police booking affidavit states.
