SALT LAKE CITY ( ABC4 ) — New details regarding Friday afternoon’s shooting have been released.
The victim is described as a male in his late 30s. While the initial report described non-life-threatening injuries, SLCPD now says the injury is a potentially fatal wound, though the victim is currently stable.
SLCPD is actively looking for a suspect at this time. Police do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the public.

SALT LAKE CITY ( ABC4 ) — Salt Lake City Police are investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital Friday afternoon.
The shooting occurred near 1700 South and Redwood Road. One person was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, according to SLCPD.
