SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah ( ABC4 ) — A man was indicted by a federal grand jury in Salt Lake City Thursday months after he was arrested in connection to a 2024 shooting at a Summit County party.
Manuel A. Pimentel-Gonzalez, 24, was arrested in May 2024 after police linked him to a shooting that took place on a rural Summit County property, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office -District of Utah.

Authorities said “a dispute erupted” at the party and security footage showed Gonzalez reaching into a vehicle and pulling out a large firearm. Gonzalez allegedly shouted profanities and left the camera’s view. Sounds of gunfire can then be heard in the video footage.
Investigators later found 42 shell casings and four firearms at the scene. They said several vehicles had bullet damage, and when they later conducted a search warrant in Eagle Mountain, they found Gonzalez’s vehicle with bullet damage as well…
