SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Over the years, many different religions have worn some sort of religious garment (i.e. a Yakama, the nun’s habit, the priest’s cassock, etc.) and the Utah-based Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is no different.
Many people, both members and non-members alike, have talked about what Latter-day Saints wear under their clothes. The Church has also updated those garments to cater to church members worldwide. We’re talking about the garments of the Holy Priesthood, or the temple garment.
What are Latter-day Saint Temples?
These garments are not the only sacred religious garments to Latter-day Saints, there are also the robes of the holy priesthood, which are only worn in Latter-day Saint Temples. More on those in a minute.
