After tragic fire claims toddler’s life, Idaho family returns home to rebuild

KUNA, Idaho — Three months after losing their 2-year-old daughter in a devastating truck fire, the Homer family continues their difficult journey of healing while rebuilding their lives in a new home.

As KTVB reported, Kenny and Rachel Homer and their children Eevee, Onix, and Dragonair were involved in a fatal fire, killing their two-year-old, Onix, after a lithium battery exploded in their truck with all three children inside of it.

Kenny, Rachel, and their surviving children, four-year-old Eevee and now one-year-old Dragonair, spent nearly two months at a burn center in Salt Lake City following the December 12 accident that claimed the life of Onix River Stone Homer…
