Woman arrested after selling drugs and gun to officer, police say

SALT LAKE CITY — A woman was taken into custody after allegedly trying to sell drugs and a handgun to an undercover detective in Salt Lake City.

A probable cause statement for the incident said detectives with a special investigations unit contacted 39-year-old Alicia Swanner on Wednesday, and she “arranged the sale of counterfeit oxycodone pills known to contain fentanyl.”

That same day, Swanner met an undercover detective and sold them approximately 40 pills police believe contain fentanyl, the statement said. She also allegedly sold the officer a Glock 19 9mm handgun…
