Documents reveal text messages sent to victim in $1.5M life insurance murder case

SALT LAKE CITY ( ABC4 ) — Court documents reveal the woman accused of killing her roommate with insulin in an attempt to claim a rumored $1.5 million life insurance policy had allegedly texted the victim, saying, “If you dying would get me out of this mess and darkness I am in now, I would take it!”

The revelation comes in newly released court documents charging the suspect, Meggan Randall Sundwall, 47, with first-degree felony aggravated murder and second-degree felony obstruction of justice.
