SALT LAKE CITY ( ABC4 ) — A crash on California Avenue in Salt Lake City is expected to create significant delays during the morning rush hour commute, according to the Salt Lake City Police Department.
The crash reportedly happened just after 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 1. Police say they received a call about someone injured on the ground near 4980 West and California Avenue.
Upon arrival, first responders found the victim, identified only as a 50-year-old woman, in critical condition. Paramedics and firefighters with the Salt Lake City Fire Department took her to the hospital with what police said were potentially life-threatening injuries.
