SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — A new project proposed for single homeless people in Salt Lake City, on the site of Palmer Court south of downtown, could come at a cost of $335,000 per apartment — and state taxpayers could pay some of it.
Leaders of The Road Home have asked for “seed money” from the Utah Homeless Services Board to “get the ball rolling.”
Palmer Court is an aging former hotel converted into a homeless space years ago. It has reportedly drawn a flood of concerns from neighbors over crime on or near the center.
