SALT LAKE CITY ( ABC4 ) — A section of the Jordan River Park Trail in Salt Lake City is closed between Cottonwood Park and 700 North with authorities saying it’s due to environmental and safety concerns.
Neighbors have mixed feelings about whether or not this closure will help or if this is what some considered to be another failed attempt at trying to fix a much bigger issue in the city.
The Jordan River Trail is home to dog walkers, bikers, and runners stretching nearly 40 miles long.
