Utah Spring Weather Alert: Wind Gusts and 74°F Highs Hit Salt Lake City Monday Through Wednesday

Salt Lake City, UT – Warm, windy days will kick off the new week in northern Utah, with potential thunderstorms returning by midweek. A stretch of sunny spring weather will dominate Salt Lake City beginning Monday, but forecasters are urging residents to stay alert for a shift by Wednesday night.

According to the National Weather Service, Monday will bring mostly clear skies and a high near 67°F, followed by a warm-up into the low- to mid-70s Tuesday and Wednesday. Winds could reach 10 mph during the day Monday, tapering off overnight. Tuesday will remain dry and sunny with a high of 74°F, offering ideal spring conditions across the Salt Lake Valley.

By Wednesday, however, conditions begin to change. A 20 percent chance of showers is forecast for the afternoon, followed by a stronger chance of thunderstorms after midnight. Temperatures will remain mild, topping out near 75°F before cooling to 51°F Wednesday night.
