I don’t know about you, but I have found through my life that trying to make a bargain, or a deal with God, doesn’t usually turn out the way I hope for. Not like there’s kind of some divine ill will coming into my life, but often time where I’m looking for outcome A, God usually opts to send outcome B along. And yes, B turns out to be the better option.
That being said, I still try to offer options to the heavens that I think would be, well kind of neat. One such deal I’m trying to negotiate now actually has to do with what I would like to do after I depart mortality. If given a choice of chores to do in the next life, I would like to spend as much time as I can hanging out with the animals.
I can hear it now. Wait!?? What about your family and friends?!?? Don’t you want to be with them? And yes, absolutely, extended time with those in the deepest regions of my heart in mortality, would be the most cherished time post mortality.
However, here in life I often feel connected to the divine when I’m in the company of the animal kingdom. So, if I could get a little more of that in the next life it would be, no pun intended, heaven…
