Arrest warrant issued for man charged with hate crime

An arrest warrant has been issued for a Wyoming man accused of harassing a Park City police officer with hate speech in December.

Calvin Rawe, 35, was scheduled to appear in court for the first time on April 18, but he failed to show up, according to documents filed in Third District Court last week. In response, Judge Richard Mrazik issued a warrant for Rawe’s immediate arrest and implemented a $500 bail.

Rawe, whose last known address is in Alpine, Wyoming, was charged with harassment in March. The charges, which include a hate crime enhancement, stem from a criminal investigation into threats Rawe allegedly directed toward striking Park City Mountain ski patrollers…
