MIDVALE — A 32-year-old man who allegedly said he was going to “solve the problem” by killing his sister was arrested Tuesday after police say he broke into her apartment and stabbed her.

Taylor Don Hooiman was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail for investigation of attempted murder, aggravated assault and aggravated burglary.
