SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — The 2034 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics is nine years away, and the committee leading the preparation gave an outline Monday on what the road to the Olympics looks like.
The Salt Lake City Utah 2034 Steering Committee met on Monday, May 12, to outline what has already been done and what needs to be done in the decade-long Olympics planning process.
Utah is preparing to host 4,000 athletes and broadcast the Games to 2.5 billion people. To guide those efforts, planning officials crafted a short purpose statement: “Inspiring impact and unity.”
