WEST JORDAN, Utah (ABC4) — If you’re looking for a new addition to your family, the pet adoption process just became a bit more affordable.
Walmart and Blue Buffalo are covering all pet adoption fees at a Best Friends Animal Society event in West Jordan this Saturday, May 17. This is part of a “National Pet Month” initiative taking place in seven locations nationwide.
13 puppies rescued from central Utah desert, adoption fees waived
The adoption event will have cats and dogs of an array of breeds and sizes available to take home for free — including more than 20 puppies.
As part of the event, there is a giveaway contest to win free pet food for a year. Attendees can enter the giveaway at the event or online by agreeing to receive emails on how to help shelter pets.
