SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Downtown Salt Lake City’s signature pedestrian-first festival is back every weekend in June.
Starting this Friday, Open Streets returns to Main Street in downtown Salt Lake City and will be around every Friday and Saturday from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. through the end of June.

The pedestrian-friendly event will include music, art, and high-energy activities as part of an effort to celebrate downtown culture while supporting local businesses.
“Whether you’re getting there right at 2 p.m. or not leaving until 2 a.m., this year’s Open Streets truly has something for everyone,” said Mayor Erin Mendenhall in a press release. “Four blocks of curated fun on Main Street means four different spaces to spend time with family, friends, and neighbors—all while supporting our favorite downtown small businesses and restaurants.”…
