SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — A 53-year-old man with a history of reckless behavior and driving under the influence was arrested for the eighth time and booked into jail on a no-bail warrant.
A Salt Lake City police officer responded to a report of a man slumped over inside a running SUV on Thursday night, June 5. The officer found Robert Todd Jorgensen asleep in the driver’s seat. A partially smoked marijuana cigarette and a lighter were reportedly found on the passenger seat.
The officer woke Jorgensen and ordered him out of the vehicle. He was placed in handcuffs while officers searched the SUV. They discovered a brown leafy substance believed to be spice — or synthetic marijuana — and an open container of rum. Jorgensen was reportedly showing signs of intoxication…
