Funeral planned for Afa Ah Loo, man killed in Salt Lake ‘No Kings’ protest

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — A funeral has been planned for the man killed in the Salt Lake City “No Kings” protest, with a public service held at a downtown convention center.

Arther “Afa” Folasa Ah Loo was fatally shot while marching in a peaceful protest on June 14. He was shot by a “peacekeeper,” a member of the protest’s security team, who fired his weapon in response to a different man entering the crowd with a firearm.

Public funeral services will be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Salt Palace Convention Center on Friday, June 27, at 5 p.m. A private graveside service for family and close friends will be held the following day…
