Man convicted of killing Draper police officer now charged with stabbing fellow inmate

SALT LAKE CITY — A man serving a life without parole prison sentence for killing a Draper police officer is facing a new criminal charge accusing him of stabbing another inmate.

Timothy Troy Walker, 46, was charged Tuesday in 3rd District Court with aggravated assault by a prisoner, a second-degree felony.
