Taylorsville man sentenced to 20 years prison for distributing methamphetamine in Utah

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — A Taylorsville man has been sentenced to 20 years prison in federal court after he pleaded guilty to distributing large amounts of methamphetamine in Utah and to money laundering.

Caile Noble, 67, pleaded guilty on April 3 to conspiracy to distribute the methamphetamine and conspiracy to commit money laundering, according to the District of Utah U.S. Attorney’s Office. He is also facing state charges in Utah for first degree murder, aggravated kidnapping, and aggravated arson.

In addition to 20 years in prison, Noble was sentenced to 60 months’ supervised release, and he must forfeit $25,000 and his home, which he used to distribute the methamphetamine.

According to court documents, Noble was the head of a drug trafficking organization, and starting in July 2022, the organization brought around 60 pounds of methamphetamine to Utah in order to redistribute it in the Salt Lake Valley. Noble was responsible for acquiring the drugs and driving it to Utah, and from there, others in the organization sold the drugs to others “in amounts ranging from quarter pounds to full pounds,” according to a news release…
