SOUTH JORDAN, Utah (KUTV) — A driver is accused of actively drinking an alcoholic beverage during his fourth DUI arrest in ten years.
Kolt Dawson, 42, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, a third-degree felony; interfering with a peace officer, a class B misdemeanor; driving as an alcohol-restricted driver, a class B misdemeanor; drinking alcohol/open container in a vehicle, a class C misdemeanor; operating a vehicle without insurance, a class C misdemeanor; driving on a suspended or revoked license, a class C misdemeanor; and violating ignition interlock, a class C misdemeanor.
On Monday, an officer with the South Jordan Police Department observed a 2001 Nissan Altima driving westbound on South Jordan Parkway “much slower than the surrounding traffic and slightly drifting,” the affidavit states…
