Missing decimal point costs Utah man thousands when paying a medical bill

SALT LAKE CITY — A simple mistake with a decimal point cost a Salt Lake City man more than $2,000. And getting that money back turned into a months-long ordeal.

Robert Bowden was paying a $20.46 medical bill online when something went wrong.
