SALT LAKE CITY – After seeing success with a first-of-its-kind crisis care center for adults, the University of Utah’s Huntsman Mental Health Institute is now opening one for kids and teens.
The program will take in up to 12 people at a time and will keep them for a maximum of 23 hours. Patients will be assessed by mental health experts on site for the best possible care, before they are transferred to other programs.
