Man arrested after argument over dog walking leads to stabbing in Riverton

RIVERTON, Utah (ABC4) — One man was arrested in Riverton after an argument lead to a stabbing late Thursday night.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Riverton Police responded to the area of 5290 West and Elk Horn Peak Drive around 11:15 p.m. on a report of a stabbing. A witness told police that Dale Talbot, 42, had stabbed another man.

Officers were able to locate the injured man, who sustained a stab wound to their abdomen. During witness interviews, each of them told police Talbot and the victim began arguing about walking the dog…
