Semi-truck crash shuts down Legacy Parkway in Centerville for hours

CENTERVILLE, Utah (KUTV) — A semi-truck crash shut down southbound Legacy Parkway in Centerville for several hours early Monday.

The semi tipped onto its left side just before Parish Lane shortly before 3 a.m. Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Cameron Roden said the driver was briefly trapped inside before crews were able to free him. He was not injured in the crash.

Initially, only the left lane was closed, and traffic was slowly moving past the scene. Both southbound lanes were later shut down at I-15, Highway 89, and State Route 177 at Park Lane as crews worked to strap and upright the truck…
