TOOELE, Utah (KUTV) — A video captured a group of children riding four-wheelers and a motorcycle through a public park.
According to officers from the Tooele Police Department, the incident is part of a larger issue in the fast-growing community, where off-road vehicle use in public spaces is becoming more common — and more dangerous.
“There’s the safety aspect for the kids and others using the park,” said Sgt. Colbey Bentley with Tooele Police. “But what really stood out in the video was watching them cross the street on a motorcycle and three four-wheelers — without even looking.”
