Paraglider survives Draper mountainside crash

DRAPER, Utah, Aug. 2, 2025 (Gephardt Daily) — A paraglider whose craft went down on a Draper mountainside Friday night suffered some injuries, but was able to walk down off the mountain to rescue vehicles.

Draper police and firefighters were dispatched to the vicinity of 235 East Marion Vista Drive about 8:45 p.m.

When they arrived they were able to locate and reach the downed pilot, who was flashing a light on and off on the hillside…
