SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — High pressure will strengthen this work week, with high temperatures expected as students start returning to school.
The first half of the week will be hot and dry in the Salt Lake area, with the first couple of days in the 90s. By the middle of the week, the Salt Lake Valley could hit 100 degrees like we did last Wednesday.
St. George is forecasted to get excessively hot, especially by Friday, with temperatures expected to hit 108 degrees down south.
High pressure will eventually help pull monsoon moisture northward into the state by the end of the week and into the weekend…
