California man sentenced for assaulting federal officer in Park City

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Aug. 27, 2025 (Gephardt Daily) — A California man convicted by a federal jury in April 2025 for assaulting a federal officer was sentenced Wednesday to 15 months in prison.

Senior U.S. District Court Judge Ted Stewart also sentenced Gabriel Omar Gigena, 42, of Valley Springs, California, to three years of supervised release.
