Lingering storms will come to an end tonight, and we’ll have a dry and mostly sunny holiday weekend. The one spoiler is wildfire smoke moving in from the north-northwest, so skies will be hazy at times. High pressure over the weekend will allow temperatures to warm back up into the mid 80s Saturday to the upper 80s Sunday and Monday. Heading into next week, high pressure will begin to shift and allow for some moisture to come into the southwestern part of the state as early as Tuesday. This moisture will mainly come in the form of clouds initially, then perhaps by the end of next week we could see some mountain showers. Otherwise, temperatures look to stay near normal for the second half of next week.??? – Devan Masciulli, KSL Weather 8.29.25
