Twice-convicted felon arrested again, suspected of gun and domestic violence crimes

SALT LAKE CITY — A man previously convicted of at least two felonies, one of which was at the federal level, is behind bars once again, accused of gun and domestic violence-related crimes.

Juan Lorenzo Bernal, 47, was arrested by the Salt Lake City Police Department early Sunday morning, following a report of a burglary at a residence, according to a booking affidavit.

The affidavit states that officers arrived at a house belonging to Bernal’s ex-girlfriend, who told officers that Bernal forced her to drive him to an unspecified location…
