SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — FanX Salt Lake 2025 is officially less than a month away! With so much to do at the convention, it can be overwhelming to plan your weekend, which is why we’ve created a guide with everything you need to know about FanX this year.
FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention is the most attended convention in the state of Utah, and it is also the largest comic convention in North America per capita, according to the website. It’s run by Dan Farr Productions, and it’s not just about comics; you can find something related to practically every geeky interest there is at the con.
FanX Salt Lake 2025 is running from Thursday, September 25 to Saturday, September 27 at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City. You can buy tickets on the FanX website here. You can also buy tickets onsite day-of, but they will be more expensive than buying online.
FanX features celebrity guests from a variety of film, TV shows, video games, comics, and more, as well as famous authors and artists. You can purchase photo ops and autographs ahead of time on the website, or you can buy photo ops, autographs, and selfies with celebrities at the con. You can also spend your time attending panels, photoshoots, and fan meet ups or perusing the vendor hall and artist alley.

You can buy day passes for each individual day. According to FanX’s website, Thursday day passes for 2025 are $20, Friday day passes are $40, and Saturday day passes are $59.
