$4.5 million rebuild underway for Main Street businesses destroyed by fire

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Crews have been at work clearing debris and rebuilding businesses just over a month after a fire devastated Salt Lake’s Main Street and displaced more than 100 workers.

Life has started to come back to parts of Main Street destroyed by a fire.

As of Wednesday, the sidewalk in front of the businesses that caught fire was still gated off as crews worked to rehabilitate the block.
