TOKYO – Former Utah track & field star Josefine Eriksen and Team Norway advance to the 4x400m relay finals at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo after running a national record time in Japan National Stadium Saturday evening there.
Eriksen led things off for the Norwegians, running a split of 51.31 – which was third fastest among those in the opening leg. The Norwegians would go on to run a national record time of 3:23.84 to take second in their heat and earned the automatic qualifier into the finals.
