Judge orders arrest of Joe Wrona over probation violation

PARK CITY, Utah – An arrest warrant was issued Monday for former Park City attorney Joseph Wrona, who was convicted of sexually assaulting his adult daughter.

Third District Judge Richard Mrazik issued the warrant for his arrest citing a probation violation. Park City police are directed to arrest Wrona, now 62, and deliver him to the Summit County Jail. The violation was not specified, though it could mean a prison term of up to 15 years for Wrona.

In January 2024, Wrona was sentenced after pleading guilty to forcible sexual abuse, a second-degree felony, and incest, a third-degree felony. He was to serve 364 days in Summit County Jail, undergo 48 months of supervised probation, and comply with standard sex offender conditions, including registration.
